Creative Obeying

Last night when Stephan put Miles and Lucy to bed he reminded Miles not to scratch the bug bite on his arm he had gotten outside earlier that day. Moments later what was heard on the baby monitor was.....pat pat pat Pitty pat (that is the sound of someone little walking around) then silence for a minute, then "Thank you Lucy" and "your very welcome Miles". First of all gotta love the manners, we are constantly working on them and its fun to hear it pay off, also love the very, Lucy thinks adding adjectives and adverbs into all her sentences is way fun. As for what was going on, Miles was walking over to Lucy's crib and sticking his arm up for her to scratch his bug bite. When Stephan snuck in there to witness this and asked Miles what he was doing, he said "I didn't scratch it, daddy." Oh boy! to the creative obeying!!!

How are we doing?

These pictures say we are doing great, everyone is sleeping:) Therefore so am I. I worked out River schedule so that all three of them take their naps at the same time everyday and so I take an hour nap everyday, it makes me a nicer mommy. We are all doing great. Miles adjusted just fine to River, he seems to understand the whole process and tell us that one day River will get big and play with him. I think he relates to when Lucy came and how now she is his best friend/partner in crime. Lucy is taking a little longer to adjust, she just sees that River is getting a ton of one on one time with mommy(nursing) and she is not. We have been making a point to get as much one on one time with Lucy and she is working through it. River is growing fast, I have her two month appointment next week along with Lucy's two year appointment, I am anxious to see how big everyone is getting. I don't seem to get to the computer as much as I used to, but I do have some fun stories and pictures to post when I can.
